Giving Back
OLIVINA'S mission statement includes a sustainable connection between our business and our community. Near where we work and live is Vine Village, a residential community of developmentally disabled adults living on a small farm of the Carneros region of Napa Valley. The Vine Village community is bonded in mutual support. Some members work in the mainstream; others create art in a light-filled studio on the ranch.


Susan and her husband, winemaker Tor Kenward, have been long-time supporters of Vine Village, with Tor participating each year as Auctioneer for their annual fundraising wine auction, and Susan helping obtain grants made possible by the Napa Valley Auction. Susan has designated a portion of the proceeds from the sales of OLIVINA be donated back to Vine Village. www.vinevillage.org
